Bad Company 2 PC Beta Start Time & Size
We were sent some information today from YkudzA about a post on Russian Battlefield site TotalBF.ru, which has some more details on the upcoming Bad Company 2 PC beta.
The 1.5 GB client will be available the morning of January 28th with testing scheduled to start at 20:00 (GMT+3), which if I did this right works out to be 10am PST.
From the forum representative office in Russia Electronic Arts has learned a little more information about the beta launch game Battlefield Bad Company 2.
In particular, managed to learn that DICE plans to publish a link to download the beta version on January 28 (morning), and 20:00 (GMT +3) will be launched beta testing.
Client Beta Battlefield Bad Company 2 will weigh about 1.5Gb.

Combat Testing Registration Open for BC2 PC Beta
The guys at Combat Testing let us know they will be "collecting data" for the Battlefield: Bad Company 2 PC beta, and have opened up registration. If you don't already have an account you can register through the link listed below.
Combat Testing will be collecting data for the BF:BC2 PC beta. To help this process, Combat Testing is open for new registrations and will give out keys to all it's testers.

Bad Company 2 Beta News & Rumors
Lot of Bad Company 2 news coming out with the PC beta scheduled to start next week on January 28th. Here is what's going around.
The OfficialBFBC2 twitter posted a picture showing sheets of BC2 Limited Edition box covers. If you look closely you can see the text that reads:
Squad Up: Compete as the lone wolf or together in 4-man squads with up to 24 players and multiple game modes include the all new Squad Rush!
Squad Rush appears to be the last game mode that has not been revealed. This is not the first time the mode has mentioned. NoFrag.com posted about it last month as well. Thanks Battlefield.pl.
The BC2 twitter also mentioned that PC beta players can reserve their soldier name for the retail version.
Heads Up: PC #BFBC2 Beta Players will secure their gamer alias (Soldier Name) for retail.
Combat Testing, the group that handled beta testing for the Battlefield 2 patches and Battlefield 2142, might be in charge of the BC2 PC beta as well. Their twitter dropped a small hint of this, so might want to dust off your old account info and update your profile.

Community member, Nigel sent us this information he received from Game.co.uk where he pre-ordered BC2. The email states that 3 week demo access will start on February 4th for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

Thank you for preordering Battlefield: Bad Company 2 from GAME.co.uk
The developer of the game has advised us that the GAME Exclusive one week demo access (due to start on the 28th January) is now no longer available.
However, don't worry as you will still get a full 3 week access to the Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Demo via Xbox Live or The Playstation® Network from the 4th February 2010.
To access the demo from the 4th February please login to you Xbox Live or PSN account, search for Battlefield Bad Company 2 and follow the download instructions. No code is needed as it is now a public demo.
